OOTD – Suede Jacket

The month of October here in Britain is African history month, last Saturday was exhibition and fun fare at Trafalgar square, Emeka and I and ofcourse Nonye decided to go and see what its all about , it was all so cool, so many lovely designs, dolls, earrings , bag, belts even sunglasses in African prints, the artworks and paintings were so beautiful, they had live bands performing and a number of African artists played live to the crowds. The venue was teaming with people in colorful prints, the only snag was that we couldnt get food to eat, the jollof rice finished early and the queue on the other africana dishes were just beyond ridiculous, we really wanted Jollof rice so we went down to 804 for their delicious Moniker dish , its a grilled fish and jollof rice dish with plantain and side salad, very yum, you really should try them, they are somewhere on Kent road.

On to the fashion bit, I am loving suede this lately, I got the jacket from Zara and thought it would go well with my suede shorts, its getting colder so tights underneath is a must and because its an African event, to celebrate my African/Nigerian heritage, I tied the ankara prints turban on, I tied that on myself no help , I think I did fairly well, My momma would be proud of me, I think?
